About us

Burwains Energy is owned and run by Jonathan & Sharon Walton. We have a background in mechanical and electrical engineering and have run a successful vehicle repair business for the last 12 years, over that time we carried out all types of vehicle repairs and maintenance but found more recently that we were concentrating on EV repairs and in particular lithium battery diagnosis and repair.

A few years ago, we decided that we wanted to take our home and business off grid and become energy independent.

Thanks to some pretty amazing products and some good old-fashioned engineering we have been entirely off grid since 2021.

Our background in mechanical and electrical engineering together with the experience we have gained from actually living off grid put us in a great position to help our customers, be it with system design, installation or product information / support.
